How heavy is it, really?
The full setup - fly, inner and 7001 aluminum poles - weighs 1.38 kg and packs to 40 x 13 x 13 cm. Pitch the fly and footprint alone and you'll carry even less.
Will it hold up in a storm?
Yes. The 15D nylon fly is silicone-coated and rated to PU4000 mm, every seam is fully taped, and the aluminum-alloy poles are built to flex - not fail - in strong wind and heavy rain.
Is it actually roomy for two?
The 210 x 125 x 105 cm interior sleeps two with sit-up headroom, and the upgraded taller front door opens onto a vestibule big enough for both packs.
What's new on the UL?
Two upgrades over the classic Cloud Up: a ventilation window above the door that cuts condensation, and a larger, taller front door for easier access and more storage.
Does it come with a footprint?
Yes - a footprint is included. Combined with the detachable rainfly, you can rig a standalone sun shelter without the inner tent.
